This Golden Shot mode is incredibly fun! Keeps the formula fresh and is super exciting due to the stakes. Really hope they become more regular! Would love to see them once a week.
Hey Tommy thanks for the information here!! This is the first time I actually did very good on this golden shootout. I actually got 2 hole in ones in a row! Then a couple other chests. So I only have the middle chest left. I am debating if I will try to get the last one. I may try it because I was lucky enough to get the Apocalypse on one of the hole in ones. I believe it was the first one I got the card from the Obsidian Chest. I may do it hoping to be able to get a card to upgrade the club. I am excited about getting that card because I have been waiting a long time for that club. One tip I can give to everyone is this- When Tommy said no need to spin for any type of side wind, that is absolutely correct. I didn't use any top or backspin for either Hole In One and each time it was a side spin. On the other hand, for the tailwind and headwind you will need to use some. Just follow what Tommy suggests here and you cannot miss. One piece of advice I can give everyone – Before you play take out a sheet of paper and calculate your wind. Everyone will be using the same club and it has han accuracy of 66%. Which means approximately 1.7 mph per ring on the wind. What I did was start at 8 MPH and multiply 8 by 1.7 Then I did 7.6 and then 7.3 and then 6 and so on. Mainly I took a good variety of possibilities of what the wind could be and calculated the value for each ring ahead of time. This way once I was playing all I had to do was quick look at the chart I created find my ring value and make my adjustments accordingly. It gave me more time to set up my shot because I didn't have to stop and try to do the math in my head real quick. Plus I knew I was more accurate this way. try it, it worked for me…2 Hole in One's plus getting all the chests but one is a good testament to how good this works……Thanks again Tommy!!
Had to buy a couple 6shot packs but I finally hit the HIO! The green to the right of the pin slopes down. I accidentally hit Great (with L<—R headwind) so I handed right of my target but it rolled in beautifully. Best of luck everyone!

Never bothered with the Golden shot before but thought I'd try this time. Check out your VT first and tried my three shots. Used a bit of sightseeing and was successful.? So, get myself 6 shots and went for it. Got all remaining rings without missing and two hole in ones.! ?? Never used side spin on any of the other shots though. Still, well happy with that. Thanks for the tip. Lookin forward to the next one.
Hey Tommy, thanks for the tips. I got the hole in one, but was a little disappointed it didn't give me any clubs only cards. Also I'm having trouble with the transition from rookie to pro, 1st tee to 2nd tee, level 6-7. Do you have any videos on this?
