Wow Pete, I thought your old swing was great but indeed the new and improved version looks super solid! Curious to see & hear your (even more) crisp contact!
Good stuff! Have you noticed any ball flight inconsistencies on the Trackman in simulator mode? I’ve seen mixed reviews on it not being very accurate with ball flight.
Basically to simplify it , he just got the swing on plane. Watch the butt of the club from dtl. Old swing butt of the club at the top pointed 90 degrees away from the ball, new swing at top butt points 45 degrees to the plane line .
Great work Pete, shallowing out your downswing is something most amateurs (myself included) struggle to do. But you have shown it can be done within a relatively short time with commitment and practice
It certainly looks more controlled. Better rotation but a shorter more compact swing. Less to go wrong I guess. I'm taking lessons at the moment with former European Tour player Alastair Forsyth. My big problem is taking it too far back on the back swing and coming over the top on the follow through. Keeping my left foot planted and my knee in front of me to just to the left, seems to help keep me more controlled, giving a better strike with a more neutral swing path. Work in progress. Good luck in the Pro Am and the beginning of the season.
Machine like deliveries the coaching is obviously working – tis a bug bear of mine coaching, the costs and time taken to seemingly go not very far, in terms of improvement have had quite a few lessons over the past couple of years and the conflicting instruction and money spent not sure I've really had value for money. My local club coach is good but to really get ahead with him would cost a fortune.
Pete – what's the quality of the ad wear like compared to the galvin Green? …and why don't you give the old gag gear away? Or do they make you send it back cheers
Interesting to see the breakdown of the swing changes you have made with Dan`s coaching. At times looking at your new swing I wasn't sure whether it was looking at you or Paul Casey! Very impressive, but you do need hit the gym looks like there has been a few too many mince pies!
Pete – with you it is surely all about consistency….as we all know you have always been able to hit fantastic shots. It is now about this new swing being able to do it ‘under the gun ! ‘
I think it looks like it will be very good
Best of luck for new season – looking forwards to see how you go.
Wow. Great work on the swing. As someone new to golf, it was really interesting to see you both analyse the results. Very smooth and clean swing by the way

Brilliant, quest for tour card now. Looks so smooth, well done.
At what point in a person's golf progression would they move from getting lessons from someone like yourself to someone like Dan?
