USA Today
It’s one of the great debates in the game of golf — does the ball go too far? And if so, why? And then, why does that matter?
The distance debate in golf is unsolved, but isn’t going anywhere. The USGA and R&A are both keen to find solutions, and now they want your help. Much like the governing bodies did with the Rules of Golf, they’re looking for insight from golfers everywhere on distance and golf.
They have created a survey to glean information from anyone about what distance means to them, what it means to elite players or professionals, what it means to the experience of watching golf, etc.
Is it a problem? Is the problem reversible? What layers contribute to distance as an issue? All these questions and more offer room for golfers anywhere to weigh in. You can find the full survey here. Enjoy!
