“Frida and Kathleen were low for the team in round one and Amanda and Beatrice were low today,” said Florida State Director of Golf Trey Jones. “The mark of a good team is depth, and we certainly have that. With the talent on this team, odds are someone will play well each time out. One of the goals I gave them was to get better as the week goes on. We are more confident going into tomorrow than we were today. I look for us to come out and get something going early tomorrow.”
Doherty and Wallin led Florida State to a 2 over par team total of 286 in the second round which saw three of the Seminoles improve on their first round scores.
