West Kilbride Golf Club launch search for owner of MISSING TEETH after set of gnashers found on course

GOLF club staff are searching for the owner of a set of false teeth found on a fairway.

A player at posh West Kilbride stumbled on the gnashers during a round on Tuesday.

The set was found on the fairway

And despite a drive to find out who lost them, none of the exclusive links’ members have yet asked for their return.

Resident coach Linzi Dye, 27, said: “We’re keeping them in an envelope behind the bar.

“Nobody’s claimed them back yet.”

Linzi said she wasn’t sure if the false teeth belonged to one of the Ayrshire club’s golfers.

The course is one of Scotland’s top 100 and membership costs £773 a year.

Linizi added: “A lot of locals walk their dogs on a path next to the fairway.

“Maybe some wee soul had them in their bag and they fell out.

“Hopefully the person will come forward and get them back.”
