LAREDO, TX (KGNS) – Webb County Commissioners have approved funding for the creation of a full-service restaurant at the Casa Blanca Golf Course.
Approximately $62,000 will go towards the La Presa Grill restaurant at the golf course.
Right now, visitors who frequent the golf course are given the option to eat snack style food.
Now, instead of offering snack foods, commissioners believe a restaurant will entire golfers as well as other residents to eat at the golf course.
Commissioner Gonzalez believes this will benefit a lot of the golfers and generate more business.
Commissioners also approved an agreement that would allow the new management company, Touchstone Golf to use the former management company’s liquor license, since they are still waiting for approval from the TABC.
