After one round of play at the 2019 Genesis Open, J.B. Holmes leads the way at 8 under following his 63 on Friday at Riviera Country Club, which included this crazy hole in one. Jordan Spieth is one behind him, but won’t likely see the course again until Saturday morning. When he does, he’s likely to be pretty far back of Holmes and any number of other players including Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas and Keegan Bradley.
Tiger Woods shot a bizarre 1-under 70 in Round 1 on Friday in which he three-putted four times. He’s seven back of Holmes’ lead but is already back on the course for his second round of play. He’s joined by Thomas (66 in Round 1) and Rory McIlroy (72).
