CLINTON TWP. – The Good News Home for Women is accepting registration for its 11th annual golf tournament fundraiser which will be held starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 20, at Beaver Brook Country Club 25 County Club Drive in Annandale.
The Flemington rehabilitation facility is a spiritually focused residential substance abuse treatment center that accepts women 18 years of age and older regardless of race, religion or ability to pay. It is one of a small number of woman-only residential rehabilitation centers in the state.
The tournament is one of three major fundraisers held each year.
Rain or shine, the outing begins with a continental breakfast and a putting contest at 8 a.m. The shotgun start will be at 9 a.m. The tournament will be in “Best Ball” format with an Italian buffet lunch. There will be an awards ceremony and fundraising activities following. During the awards luncheon there will be testimonies from several Good News Home residents about their journey towards recovery.
