HOW TO STOP SWAYING OFF THE GOLF BALL

  1. I didn't have a chance to practice this, as our range was closed.  But I walked 9 and put this concept to a test.  WOW!  It worked for me yesterday!!  Even without any practice, the swing thoughts about my shoulder rotation worked like a charm!!  THANK YOU!!!!

  2. cool vid, bro. now watch this. (here. hold my beer.) all you silly nubs chattin down there… pay attention. your sway is caused by your hunchy postures. (srsly, this is gonna be right 90% of the time.) straighten your lower back. now try again. look… your sway is gone. cool beans, huh nubs. this game is simpler than you think. even i can do it. :p

  3. I’ve just recently stumbled across your channel, and in one day you’ve managed to address two issues I’ve always been having in my backswing (swaying and getting too flat at the top). This video and the video on forearm rotation really puts me in a much better position at the top without much conscious effort resulting in much more consistent results and a feeling of swinging more freely(so far). I would never have thought to address the problems the ways you do. Thank you for all the great content.

  4. This is a problem I suffer with and found that I sway more as I become more upright in my stance. Bending more at the hips and feeling my left shoulder turn towards my right shoe on the back swing really helped as it helps eliminate the sway, keeps me more compact and promotes a better turn. It also helps with ball strike consistency. Great video. Thanks

  5. Another great video, Chris! I'm curious what microphone you use to shoot your videos? We're incorporating more video into our real estate business and need a solution.

  6. Thank you Chris! I really enjoy you how you explain the way problems are created and how you approach a solution with simple and easy drills. There is always one thing that i can take to a range session and learn something that i never experienced in my swing

  7. Chris, thanks for the vid. Quick question here:

With the idea mentioned in the drill, I suppose one must beware not to put (too much) pressure on the left foot during the back swing. With the spine tilt as it is, it may be natural then to feel more pressure on the left foot (since that shoulder is moving toward the ball, and removing pressure from the right foot (since that side is moving "away).

    Good follow up vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehThz9CC77U

  8. Great video chris! Thank you! Future video idea, could you explain the gloved arm positions in the backswing, any check points as you take the club back possibly incorporate wrist cock at the same time with position checks.. I worry as a 51 year old I'm not flexible and I'm not lifting my forward arm high enough.. I'm a lefty so forgive me from saying left or right body parts.. Its all reverse for me! Thanks again

  9. Hi Chris, a possible question for you: what feeling should we have of our arms ? Completely powerless and abandoned to gravity and body rotation ? Powerful and seeking for speed and delivery towards the target ? (Maybe it depends…) It could help to reach the famous extension towards the target ? And how to practice that feeling ?

  10. Like the stick and cover but have a question. While not good, if I reverse weight shift, I will still see the ball. Will the view of the ball/cover change and alert me that I have this problem.
